Lamar is home to not only the Best Western Cow Palace, but also the House Of Petrified Wood (as seen in Ripley's Believe It Or Not), now a used car dealership. It is also unpleasantly close to a ginormo feedlot, so as stanky as it will be, give thanks that you're not there in July.
