Every now and again someone feels the need to remind me that I am part of the Woodstock generation (I was 20 that summer). However, I was not part of the Woodstock culture. I never listened that closely to the words of this song - I like the subtitles supplied here. Most of what was on the airwaves then was incomprehensible - we didn't try to understand more than a couple key phrases.
