Today, I tackle matters of importance. Matters of the legal nature. Tax issues. Money woes. Financial nightmares.
Yuck.
If I'm not around for awhile, light a candle for me and wish me many dollars of luck.
In addition, I have a child that refuses to eat yet again. Those of you with fat and happy babies have no idea how great you have it. Light a candle for me and send fat wishes to Amos.
Until the smoke clears...

Things I don't want to do

14 beautiful people muttered something back:
If only paper was more nutritious. He definitely enjoys chewing on that. Maybe we could soak envelopes in some sort of nutrient bath and let him chew his way to an extra large.
And I guess the woeful tasks need to be dealt with before The Man comes and hauls us away. Maybe we could just say the baby ate our paperwork.
I've found that standing over Neilen and glaring at him when he considers leaving the table helps.
I also bribe him with cupcakes. Today, we are having chicken spaghetti with rotel tomatoes and chicken enchilada pie in celebration of Cinco de Mayo!
I hope you endure the painful process of taxes and other legal matters. I'm pretty sure The Man is still gloating about hauling away Wesley Snipes, so maybe you can slip away unnoticed.
Sorry about your important things to do. I have lots of important things to do, too...but I keep procrastinating with blogging.
I wouldn't worry about the non-eating. They won't starve. I have found, in my infinite wisdom, that kids eat a lot before a physical growth spurt...but before a mental spurt, eating slows down. A lot. His brain is just growing :-)
Ooh, sorry to hear about all the sucky adult matters. Sending positive financial vibes your way, and voracious appetite vibes to Amos.
Hang in there!
Best of luck clearing things up quick and easy!! I hope you have as little hassle as possible! We'll be thinking of you!
Phil "lives under the stairs" - Amos has been our excuse for everything else so far. Why not blame our burdens on him as well?
Amanda - Amos doesn't have teeth yet, so we're not quite to the chicken enchilada pie phase just yet. I forgot about Wesley. Yay for distraction!
Kat - That's the problem with blogging. It is far too easy to use as a distraction from other matters.
Thanks for the food advice! Perhaps Amos is preparing to start talking. I expect a dissertation on the pros and cons of binkies any day now.
Sandy C. - Thank ya! I hope your vibes reach our bank account.
Sadie - Thanks! Don't count me out just yet. I'm sure I'll blog when I'm in the midst of chaos. Also, I'm commenting now... so... uh... yeah. Back to work.
May your bank account and Amos' tummy be ever full.
Oh no...sending good vibes your way!
Feed Amos some paper, and then some green jello - maybe he'll poop you some money.
Maybe Amos is having anxiety about his modeling career. Tell him that anorexia isn't the answer... :P
musing - Thank ya! That's a great mantra to repeat every day.
nap warden - Please include a winning lottery ticket to fly along those vibes. heheh.
LceeL - Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. Haha! He's doing well by combining green beans and paper, but no money has shown up yet from his digestive system. Darn.
villanovababy - Haha! Yeah, I'm not sure skinny babies are in this year.
I figured out (finally) every time my daughter refused to eat and I was 'sure' she was going to die of malnutrition, it was "just" before she went in to a eat-everything-in-sight phase that was immediately followed by a growth spurt. Drove me nuts.
